I try and walk the path with you,
Foolishly ignorant,
There was nothing I knew.
The closer I tried to come,
The more you pushed away,
It got more difficult, with each passing day.
Your locked vault is your pride,
You had nothing to show ,
And everything to hide.
And the moment approaches,
The clock starts to tick,
The future is misty and the fog so thick.
Each moment now I look to with dread,
842 miles! My heart stops dead,
It is a dark path that lies ahead.
A yellow radiance had filled my life,
It seems to fade and shrink,
Shoving me into the realm of stife.
Every person I suspect,
Every action I dissect,
My own sanity I now disrespect.
When words cannot find expression,
It is the biggest frustration,
It is life's own ifuriation.
I try and walk the path with you.
