When calls don't work,
When all you get is a smirk,
When you try day and night,
Though you put forth all your might,
When you feel lost and hurt,
You end up feeling like dirt,
When she ignores you.
You turn and toss in bed,
Wishing you could be dead,
You try to keep your cool,
But you feel like a fool,
You dream about her often,
Wishing that she would soften,
When she ignores you.
Oh for that one smile,
You would walk a mile,
For a glimpse of her face,
You would quit any race,
For her one word,
No one else is heard,
When she ignores you.
